Ace Hardware®: BBQ Guide

“Helpful” is a core tenant of Ace Hardware’s brand. With this project the goal was to bring helpful into what had previously been a purely sales focused space for Ace, the catalog. We used this BBQ Guide as an evergreen education piece on Ace’s wide range of grill brands and accessories.

The design approach was editorial. I concepted photography to help tell the story of each spread, acting as art director with a partner photo studio. I included QR codes to existing tip and recipe videos, driving customers to Ace’s large collection of educational video content. The final book gives customers ideas and helps empower them to make the right decision for their grilling needs through simple but effective design.
